Areca Butterfly Palm

Origin
The Areca Dypsis Lutescens has the Dutch name Goudpalm and originates from Madagascar, where the plant mainly grows in the moist dune areas.

Properties
Over the years, the plant easily reaches a length from the floor to the ceiling. The Areca has large green fan-shaped leaves that slowly unroll.

Air purifying
The Areca is particularly air-purifying. Due to the large leaf surface, the plant is able to remove harmful substances from the air and convert them into clean air. In addition, the Areca evaporates large amounts of water, so that the plant ensures a pleasant climate in the house.

Pitch
Place the Areca in a light spot, not in full sun. The Areca is particularly suitable for rooms with high humidity and therefore fits perfectly in the bathroom.

Watering
