Origin
The Ficus Lyrata comes from West Africa and flourishes in the lower rainforest from Cameroon to Sierra Leone.
Properties
The Ficus Lyrata is better known as the Tobacco Plant or Fiddle Leaf Plant. The Ficus family is enormous and the different species are very different. The Lyrata is one of the favorites from the Ficus family.
Air purifying
The Ficus Lyrata is a strong air purifier and is therefore able to remove dirty particles from the air and convert them into clean air. The air purifying effect of the Lyrata is so great because the leaves have a considerable surface area.
Location
Place the Ficus Lyrata in a sunny spot, preferably near a south-facing window. Watering The Lyrata needs regular watering and is very easy to maintain thanks to the Beautanic Hydropot with water reservoir and water meter.
Power supply
All Beautanic Lifestyle plants are provided with the special Beautanic Hydropot. These plants are placed on volcanic grains, which ensures that sufficient oxygen reaches the roots. This ensures a nice balance, so that they remain strong and healthy for many years. Hydroponic plants get their nutrients from the water, compared to soil culture, where plants get their nutrients from the ground. It is therefore necessary to provide the Beautanic Lifestyle Lyrata regularly with Beautanic Superfood .
Nutritional advice:
Add half a teaspoon of Beautanic Superfood to the water once a month.
Repotting
The Ficus Lyrata is delivered in a Beautanic Hydropot. This special hydroponic system provides the roots with sufficient oxygen, so that the plant can grow optimally. Repotting is therefore not necessary.
