Origin The Monstera Obliqua has the Dutch nickname Wrinkle Hole Plant. This plant is native to the tropical rainforests of Central and South America.
Properties The Monstera owes the name Hole Plant to the special shapes of the leaves with holes that become larger during flowering. The Monstera is by nature a tropical climbing plant that can grow quite high. Just like the large hole plant, this smaller variety also produces aerial roots.
Air purifying The Monstera is highly air-purifying and is therefore able to filter dirty particles from the air and convert them into clean air.
Pitch Place the Monstera Obliqua in a light spot, not in direct sun. Watering The Monstera needs a relatively large amount of water and is very easy to maintain thanks to the Beautanic Hydropot with water reservoir and water meter.
Nutrition All Beautanic Lifestyle plants are equipped with the special Beautanic Hydropot. These plants stand on volcanic grains, so that sufficient oxygen reaches the roots. This ensures a nice balance, so that they remain strong and healthy for years to come. Hydroponic plants get nutrition from the water, compared to soil culture, where plants get nutrition from the soil. It is therefore necessary to regularly provide the Beautanic Lifestyle Obliqua with Beautanic Superfood.
repot The Monstera Obliqua comes in a Beautanic Hydropot. Due to this special hydroponic system, the roots have sufficient oxygen, so that the plant can grow optimally. Repotting is therefore not necessary.
